So I was in my local CompUSA bying a new modem when I happened to walk past the "clearance" case. Inside was an out of box Ipod 10 gig version and a sign "Save $60!" I thought if I can bring it down a little more I'd get it and upgrade from 5gig. So I ask the guy at the register to come over and scan it for me. It rings up $399! Wow! I told him at was a regular price of the brand new unit. So he calls the manager to come over. The manager looks me straight in the eyes and tells me the regular price was $459 and with $60 "discount" I can get it for "clearance" price of $399. WTF??!!!! Everyone knows that MSRP for 10gig is $399, it's even listed on their website at that price! However, the a$$hat wouldn't budge. I think this was my last trip to CrapUSA. :disgust:
