rant: chewing loud

is it just me or anyone else extremely annoyed by people eating/chewing with their mouth open, thus making chewing/chomping noise?

(coworker across my desk is chewing his gum really loud all day and it's annoying the heck outta me...mother of mercy!! please chew w/ your mouth closed!!!)

Rant: people who use adjectives when they're supposed to use adverbs.

every single one of my roommates used to chew w/ their mouth open...it was ridiculously annonying...i finally confronted them about it...and i guess they made a conscious effort to stop...but holy cow it was bad in that apartment...
