**RANT! ATI SUCKS!***

I had a staff meeting at 9PM, so I re-booted my computer to Win98 and set my ATI TV Wonder to record XFiles.

I came back to find my computer frozen - the TV Wonder software had started to record but it crashed about 4 minutes into the show - the resulting MPEG file was also screwed up.

Why doesn't ATI have good drivers/software? Dam their lousy hides.

Bundled software is usually not a great idea for anything beyond experimental use. I have no experience with the TV Wonder software, but I'd use something other than the included ATI software for recording anything important. Of course, I'll agree that the software ought not to crash a computer within four minutes, and it would be nice if bundled software were of better quality.

yea ATI software is suck. The hardware can be ok, for videocapture never use what ATI gives you, a much much better program is Virtualdub
