I'm trying to sell my desktop as a whole, as in, not parting it up. Apparently people cannot grasp that, or do not bother to read anything but the specs. I'm in no hurry to sell it, so I don't really care if it takes longer to sell as a whole compared to parting it out. Not to mention the low ballers that happen to be floating around... Some one was trying to get me to sell them the video card (7800 GT), cpu (AMD 64 3000+), and a msi neo 4 platinum motherboard for l$280. Evidently they don't see the prices of these parts new, which puts it hovering around $500 total.

I've had only one decent offer, but again, they wanted everything but the harddrives, and since I'm in no hurry, I'd rather find someone who wants the whole thing.

Does anyone know of anywhere else that is a better place for selling this?

If you want something sold, take it to eBay-- they are choc full of people who don't have the technical skills to know it's not cost beneficial to buy a whole system.

I see some merit in your rant... but frankly offering almost $300 for parts that cost $500 new does not really qualify as lowballing unless the parts are just a month or two old.
