don't you hate some of the crap new featurres the phone companies have these days?
the ones that piss me off the most are the "for only 75 cents" ones. specifically "there is no answer for only 75 cents qwest will continue to ring this number."
i say screw that, for only nothing just let the damn thing ring! freaking thing comes on after only 4 rings! uggggggggggggggg
me and alot of my friends rarely make it to the damn phone in under 4 rings!
also "the line is busy" one pisses me off too! i have redial for free. i don't need some monkey to keep trying a number fo me if it's busy.

why dont u adjust teh settings so the machine picks up in 6 rings..... theres usually a setting on teh answering machine, and if u have the phone company service than call them and ask how to change it. i doubt most people care about the 75 cent thng that retries the number. hey, their just trying to make a buck.if u hate it so much, why wait on the line to listen to it anyways?

my machine isn't the thing doing it. for instance if i'm on one line and you call me, it may not even give me a beep for the other line before it tells you the 75 cent message. several of my buddies are into ranching, they are out at the barn, the buzzerr is their ringers, but if you are several acers away they have no chance to get there in 4 rings. all it is is a way to dupe people out of cash. the biggest thing is, is if it is ringing, let the damn thing ring! it may take 15 orr 20 rings to get there. the busy thing is less pisssssy, but still makes me mad.

Are you saying that you don't have the option to let the phone keep ringing? The phone company cuts you off after just 4 rings?
