Last night i was playing some video games and i noticed an ant crawling up my arm. I turn around and then i see literally thousands of ants crawling from my roommates leftover food that he failed to throw away up to my bed...i was so annoyed and i had to spray down the room with raid...now i'm lightheaded :| why is it that other guys have trouble cleaning after themselves? is my mom the only one that taught me how to clean up my own mess? roommates never clean anything except the occasional "oh i vaccumed the place and it was so so tiring!" BOO HOO! they never clean the dirty stuff like the kitchen, the restroom...they just let the urine stains accumulate on the toilet and dont like to put the toilet seat UP, shave their hair and leave pieces of it everywhere etc.

sorry had to vent and i have a mild headache...wish me luck on my final exam 10:30am.

Take the plate and put it under the sheets on your roommates bed. Tell them that you will continue to do that every time they fail to clean up after themselves.

Get yourself one setting of dishes (one glass, fork, knife, spoon, plate...) and wash it after every use. If they leave something out for more than a day, tell them that if it stays there you are gonna trashcan it. It won't take them long to get mad and beat the crap out of you. Then you'll have a legitimate reason to move or make them move.

try to make piece with the ants. Why kill them? They deserve the chance to change their ways.:p

I actually had to do this in one of the places I lived when going to college. Except my roommates would let the dirties pile up in the sink. I had my own bathroom on the first floor and the other 3 guys had theirs up on the second. When the sink was overflowing with dishes (so I couldn't use the sink) I took all the dirties upstairs and put them in their shower so they'd have to do something about it!

Never had to do that again :D.

cool... I lived with two pretty nasty guys in college. The other guy in the house was cool. He was the one I got the idea from. He had his own stuff, and kept it in his room. When he got through eating, he washed his dishes and took them back to his room.
