Rant: Amazon.com super saver shipping....

That is with normal shipping. You have to 'select' Super Saver shipping. When you do, Amazon CLEARLY states "Please note that your order will take an additional 3 to 5 days to ship."

Ordered this on April 3 (was $15 cheaper and qualified for Free Super Savings Shipping to HAWAI`I!!!)...
...not going to be shiped until the 13th of April! 10 days wait?!?!

BUt, I can't really complain...it's free shipping to Hawai`i, not many places doing that now days...or ever...

Exactly. If you want it "now" then you pay for it. Super Saver is cheap for a reason.
 
When you check out, they tell you that Super Saver Shipping will take longer to process than paid methods. Read the checkout page and stop bitching.

I ordered a book off Amazon (A Random Walk Down Wall Street), on April 3rd with Super Saver Shipping. It shipped out on April 8th and is supposed to arrive between the 15th and the 18th.

So yes, Super Saver does suck.

I'd cancel that order because the watch you got sucks big time. It doesn't evenfunction well according to two out of 3 total reviews.
 
If you are so impatient you can't wait 2 days, then pay for the faster shipping. I think the money would be better spent on some inspirational reading on patience instead, though.

Well since you bothered to post on something that happened a month ago...

I purchased the item on Feb 28th. They didn't ship until the 7th. Other people stated that they though super saver shipping was slower than it used to be. Maybe you should have read through the thread rather than post from the OP. If not then don't bother with a reply.

Nah, I have had the watch for about a month now and I really like it. I added a review to the product page.

I did read the thread and I don't see how that pertains to my response. Your rant is due to your own impatience, nothing else. You expected something to be free and fast, but for no reason. You always pay more to get it to you faster, so what does logic tell you when you pay less?

Item was supposed to ship today, and it hasn't...if not shipped by tomarrow, I'm calling Crutchfield (vendor who ships the item)...

 
I have to BTTT this

Since the new year Amazon's "Super Saver Shipping" has been noticeably slower, and I think that's why people are mad. In years past, my "Ships in 24 Hours" items would ship on either the same day or next day EVERYTIME with Super Saver Shipping. Now it's taking up to 4-5 days for my items to ship even though they say it'll ship in 24 hours.

Maybe due to Prime abuse? I utilized their free trial like most folks during the winter of last year and got a lot of stuff shipping free 2-day, however, I wouldn't have purchased from Amazon at all w/o that deal so I don't get why Amazon would throttle customers now. I'm definitely more hesitant to buy from Amazon now after 2 straight purchased taking 4-5 days to ship when their both popular and in stock items.
 
Yeah, I just ordered an item a few days ago from Amazon, which stated shipping usually takes place in 24 hours. It's been a few days now, and it still hasn't shipped. Oh well, I still love Amazon 😛
