{(RANT)} albertson's grocery store hires crazy people

i went in there to buy grocerys for my mom and i was at the register and the checkout lady said i couldnt use the cupons becuase i wasnt 18, i asked if she was sure and what the difference between 16 and 18 was when it comes to using cupons and she didnt answer but indtaed asked if i wanted to make the purchase anyway. i called back when i got home and asked if this was the policy and the manager said no it wasnt and that she wanted to know who was working the register. i described the old lady and she came back saying how sorry she was. she said next time i came in to let her know and she would fix the mistake be crediting the fdifference to me. ok rant over, just letting you know the most bogus thing to happen to me in a while.

Seriously, that's one of the weirder cashier stories I've ever heard.

On a related note, I had a gas station attendant card me for a Sobe the other day. She wouldn't believe me when I told her that there was no alcohol in it.

werk i have been carded for the stuff too, i love that and when you buy just a single one they always think theres alchol. especailly the lizard line.

yeah tell me about it. i bought some frosted flakes and the cashier commented on how tony was looking at the little boys on the box. he was terminated by the next week when i went in.

just to mention i am starting work at ralphs which is a much cleaner store and they do hire some well lets call them slower people, they arent allowed to man the registers.
