****Rant*****Albatron is mildly sucky

so I order this lcd from newegg....a little over 3 weeks later it starts acting up....go to newegg's site and it says I am past my 30 day RMA, which is bull, but apparently they go off the day they recieve your order and not when you actually recieve it...anyways...long story short, I have been trying to get a new monitor for about 5 weeks...and they just now agreed to give me a new one....NEVER EVER EVER buy anything Albatron...unless you are willing to call Taiwan to actually talk to someone helpful

Albatron might be new to the computer scene but they have been making LCDs/plamas etc for almost 20 years

Actually they aren't really very new. They just got into mainboards/video cards recently. Sorry to hear about your RMA troubles. I've emailed them a few times for info. and I haven't been overwhelmed with thier helpfullness, but they were nice enough and even sent me a beta BIOS. I haven't had a problem to rectify yet though so who knows how that would go.

ok update...the guy agreed to send me a new one first, and to overnight it...both of which he didnt have to do...I can accept that...thread title will be changed to reflect my new opinion on this
