RANT: 3DMark, version numbers, and people who suck at math

GOD DAMMIT!

I'm sick sick sick of hearing and seeing people posting about how "omfg meh new Ti4800 only skorde 25003D marks in 3dmark03 and it got 15000 in 2001!"

2003 is not 2001. They are two different numbers. They signify a major revision.

Do you compare 3DMark2000 results to 2001? Or are you really that stupid and suck that badly at math?

Therefore......

You'll need a 2005 card to get 15000 on '03.

...and so on...
