Ranger DANGER!!!!!! Ranger Pickup truck jumped 80 ft.

The Toyo fanbois will claim that the Hilux from the Top Gear Episode would have jumped double that distance and been drivable after impact 😀

I thought the guy did pretty good. He hit the landing ramp almost perfectly, but appeared to hit the embankment on the right, for some reason. I give him an 8.

He should retry the jump with solid rubber tires ("no-flats??") for better landing cushioning. Either that or raise the truck up on an extra springy suspension to see if the landing can trigger a 2nd jump.

An Echo could do better.

i know your echo took a beating, but i dont think it can go as far as that truck did, remember what happened to your car when you took it off the cliff into the water? yea, that truck went much further.

I agree. He did a pretty good job of judging the distance and the speed needed for it. Now, he just need to works on that steering thing.

Bah, if it wasn't for the river that I landed in I woulda kept on going! As for my Echo, it's a lvl 8000 pwnage vehicle. Would you like to swallow its pwn sauce?

Ahhhh, natural selection at its finest.

You would have thought the guy would have worn a helmet or something, I have my doubts he even wore a seat belt.

EDIT:

Upon a second viewing it looks as if he was wearing a helmet.

wut an absolute POS to perform a jump in.

i disagree. you'll notice a great many desert racers use ford rangers for there TTB suspensions. they handle jumping sand dunes very well and with modifications are capable of over 18 inches of suspension travel.
