Good things: The weapon fires beautifully and is very nicely accurate. Firing at the standard 21 foot distance for home defense practice yielded nice, tight groupings and the sights were dialed-in perfectly by the previous owner. Very light SA trigger pull, and even DA was lighter than the S&W .38 snub that I'd rented before. Overall I am beyond satisfied with this purchase.

Bad things: Stay the hell away from Sellier & Bellot ammunition. I saw 2 split cases in one box of 50 rounds (didn't catch the first one until I inspected the casings later). Not acceptable in a low-pressure round like the standard .38 Spl. I'll be sticking with Speer Lawman or another name-brand ammunition for practice going forward.

The one thing I don't like about this result is that now I'm going to buy a Model 19.
