Going to rig up a Shuttle I have laying around to a 30" LCD Sceptre.

I have a Logitech MX700 & cordless keyboard, but they don't seem to have the range I need, I'll need about 15'

Suggestions?

No, 30", but will do some simple gaming on it....

Might use giant fonts too....

what about that gyration remote and wireless keyboard? My friend was using it on a 46inch Sony projection and a G4 Mac.

I'm using a 43" DLP and I'm about 4' - 6' away. If I were any further I would get a heading from squinting. I use a logitech MX duo good for about 15' (or they say... I'm skeptical) You can't get much better than an MX duo. But I wouldn't go so far back if I were you.

I hear the gyration works well long distances....

15' is extreme for a cordless KB . . . . i set my transmitter up high in my room and can barely get 10'.

The only thing i can think of without extensive modifications would be to get a usb/PS2 extension cables (they DO make them?!?) so you can set your transmitter closer to your KB/mouse. ;)

I just bought a ps2 extender for my keyboard, and now I can sit about 10 feet way. Somewhat ghetto, but it works:)

Glad to know it works. :)

that seems to be the cheapest way . . . . i was actually thinking of this in case i ever got my widescreen LCD (perhaps "dreaming") . . . . i tested and found i can barely get 10' under ideal conditions . . . . the EASY solution would be to move the transmitter closer to the KB (with extension cables) ;)

i imagine the "cool" way would be thru some 'wireless networking" and a spare laptop . . . . or 'chaining' a couple of transmtters:p

(maybe not)
