Recently my computer will just shut off while in the middle of something. It turns back on fine and such. It's like the cord was pulled. I can restart it up fine. The weird thing is, it only happens when I have the monitor oin and using the computer (internet browsing playing games) when the monitors off it runs fine as long as I want. Its a new computer with a new power supply antect 350w. I cant really test another to see if thats the problem. it's not overheasting either case is 39c and cpu is ~43C. I made sure the heatsink wa son and disable shut down on overheat in bios. I'm stumped...

Specs: P4 2.4c
Antec 350W PS
Mitsubishi Diamond pro 930sb monitor
abit geforce 4 ti 4200

This sounds weird, but if you have more than one wall outlet nearby, hook up two power strips and distribute what you plug into each :)

Thats what i was thinking. Maybe whent he cpu is under load it tripps the surge protector. But its only the pc that turns off nothing else.
