Random Windows date change? 11/17 instead of 11/16

I was browsing the startsampling website and thier code gets the time of day and reports it as 11/17 (monday). i then looked at my own clock and it reports 11/17(monday) too. im using winxp. whats up w/ this? i haven't changed the date on my clock at all.

Anyone else notice this?
