Random used game store FTW!!

Went by a local store called GameExchange and found Ico for PS2 for $19.95. Original black label game in perfect condition.

There's another chain called Vintage Stock here in KC, where I found KOTOR for $9.95 too on XBox.

I didn't think ICO was ever made into a greatest hit was it? Anyway nice find on a great game, I had a hard time finding it when I decided to buy it and that was like 4 years ago lol.

Some of the smaller game places can be absolutely phenomenal. I found a copy of Stella Deus at one in PA once, and while it's not impossible to find, it was nice to get it fairly cheaply.

Yeah, I got one of those around here called Game Repair. Little one shop hole in the wall. They even sell atari and commodore games. Prices are pretty good and the service is unbeatable.

They also have the wall of fail. Nintendo Power Glove, Virtual Boy, Sega Saturn, etc.

Do you have their number? Been looking to get a Sega Saturn and Guardian Heroes.

Guardian Heroes, holy crap. While not worth justifying buying the system it at launch (crazy little brother with too much money), that was an awesome game.

Our Saturn was one of the things that fell victim to a parental garage sale while the kids are away at college.

I haven't found any good independent shops here in town (Lubbock, I'm not sure that there are any), though, until yesterday, I was unemployed, so there wasn't much point. One place that I've ordered stuff online from is Toys n' Joys in Hawaii. They had some import type stuff for a decent price.

Umm, ICO is less at Gamestop... at least it was when I checked three months ago.

Maybe, but finding it in stock is the issue.

After asking fruitlessly at a couple stores I checked stock online in the SoCal and Atlanta regions and found plenty. Probably fewer than 50% of the locations have them but they are so numerous that most people are within easy driving distance.

Dammit. I checked again and the same stores still have it but the price has doubled... :|

I should have grabbed it when I checked a few months ago. Bragging rights have now returned to you, OP.

I was going to say, I don't think we're talking about the same GameStop 😉.

The closest store with it in stock is 64miles from me. I live in the small suburb of Kansas City, so there are a few GameStop stores around me 🙂.
