Random screen blanking

I have a digital DVI-D monitor hooked to an ATI on board video. The screen starts blanking (going black) for a second or two, a few times for no reason. Have the latest drivers. Anyone else? Is this an ATI issue? MB issue? Vista issue?
 
I think it has to do with ATI Smart and ATI Hotkey Poller hidden in the background service I had to disable both of them and the problems are gone. I could be wrong about your case.
 
I unstalled all the ati, then just installed the ati video driver, not anything else ati, and the problem is gone.
