512 DDR ram

cooling:
stock cooling, ie: fan that came w/ amd cpu and the fans in my Lian Li 86

Assuming that heat is your problem, that is a pretty high case temp, it could be that when the cpu is stressed the hsf can't provide enough cooling because your high case temp so your comp reboots. First, what is your case cooling and what is the environment that it is in?

it case cooling is what came with the lian li 86, two fan in front to suck air in, two in the back to spit it out. It is in my dorm room where the temperature is about 80C

hey man i had the same prob with my system, if your running w2k you can turn off auto reboot in yur system properties control panel, now instead of restarting yur computer will give you the blue screen of death and some info on whats happening.. in my case, my i/o was fried, i sent it back to gigabyte but they sent it back, and the prob didnt go away, so i upgraded

hope this helps!
