Random Reboots without bluescreens

episodic

Lifer
I've turned off automatically reboot during blue screens in the control panel.

Got a computer that randomly reboots occasionally, never under load (think 1 am while it is doing nothing).

There are not errors written to the log. THere are no records of blue screens. Just 'poof' reboot.

I've ran memtest overnight, came up clear.

My power supply isn't the best, but is brand new (400 watt Codegen) powering a 2600 sempron system.

Should I replace the power supply next, or what?

It could be the power supply, but I dunno. I have troubles with random reboots as well with my 300 Watt Powmax, so I swapped it with a 360 Watt MGE and the same problems still persist. Neither power supply is exactly good, but it seems kind of coincidental that the same problem would happen with both.

Ordered a 400 watt fortron source - they have a good rep.

If this does not work, I should RMA the motherboard next, right?
