I recently put a new system together. Its a clawhammer 2800+ on a Abit NF8 mobo. However, i am getting random reboots, at about every step I take. Windows XP platform reports this error every time I get back on the system.

Im flashing the bios as we speak, but its odd. I even did a format/fresh install but still no go.

The other parts attached are 2x512 Kingston sticks, a geforce 6600GT, a MSI TV@nywhere master tv card and a sound blaster 5.1dig sound card.

Can anyone assist me. The system currently is beahving as if i killed its girlfriend. Is it possible for a pc to hate me so much? Or is it just my bad luck with 64 bit systems?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Why? So he can see his system freeze? It's rebooting for a reason.

Take a look in your Event Viewer, a lot of times it can provide you with clues. Post anything unusual here.

A quick look with Google shows you may have a virus:

Because it will give him the error code smartass.

It will give us a better clue at what type of error he is getting instead of just knowing that "Its restarting"
