Is anyone seeing this on their servers? I have a couple of them which seem to be rebooting for no reason and it was after this patch so it could be related, not sure yet.

Any other ideas of what to try to do? I am going to uninstall them to see if that changes anything....

Which OS? I recall seeing a Slashdot article where Linus ripped Intel a new one over the quality of their patches.

The microcode released by intel was bugged and causes random reboots. VMware pulled the ESXi patch with this microcode due to this.

OS is 2008 Server.

Are the patches they're referring to that they are asking people to wait on the firmware and BIOS ones or the OS patches?

Firmware/bios. It is specifically the Intel microcode. Linux and VMware ESXi can load the microcode from the OS (as could windows, but I don't believe they do it), so the OS patches that include the microcode were pulled.
