Random Rant: When Bad HW Sites Attack

I was looking over at mushkin.com since I need a new stick of DDR, and was looking at their "hi perf" DDR 2100 sticks, which is $30 extra for a 512 meg sticks. I was wondering exactly what that extra $30 would get me, and they had links to reviews. I clicked the first one . . . which is here. Look at the graph of the "Sandra 2002 Memory Benchmark" about halfway down, directly linked here for the lazy.

More then slightly misleading?

I donno, whenever people I know who are fairly proficent with hardware start talking out of their ass, it usually ends up with them showing a graph like that to me. And people wonder why marketers are down there with lawyers on the huggles scale.
