Hello again!

I'm about to build a new pc and i could use the your guys' opinions:

1. Speakers: ACS-45.2 or ACS54? ..or another brand?
2. Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 40 or IBM Deskstar 75 GXP
3. Antec KS-282.. good or bad? and how come onvia doesn't have it anymore? =(
4. What is "white-box"? cheaper packaging?
5. Mushkin or Crucial ram? i was comparing Mushkin High Perf REV1.5 PC133 222 and Crucial part # CT16M64S4D7E

2: Go for the IBM 75GXP
4: White box is OEM. Means no fancy box, no extra software. Just the hardware and the drivers.

2) Whichever is the better deal. You'll be happy with either drive.

4) Same as OEM packaging. Usually the same product as "retail" without the added software bundle and eye-catching packaging. An OEM cpu won't include a heatsink/fan.

A "whitebox" drive may not come with cables or mounting brackets either. It may not even have installation software, though it's usually easy to download if needed.

Another issue with OEM is warranty. Retail hardware usually has a longer warranty period.

Be sure to ask about these things when ordering OEM hardware.

thanks guys! i figured as much with the whitebox thing. but, um.. how bout that antec282 case? are any of u using this case? how is it?
