No, you can't. The sticker lists the load ratings, not the curb weight. GVWR is not the weight of the car. It's the maximum that the car can permissably weigh when fully loaded with passengers and luggage. This can be sometimes 1,000 pounds or more over the car's curb weight.

I just checked edmunds.com, it's the curb weight is 3001 lbs. Thanks for the help guys. If anybody wants to suggest a cheap, yet reliable place to get a wheel alignment, let me know.

there are maybe a handful of production cars that weigh less than a ton, so i guess not many can take advantage of this coupon.

unless u do mods of ur own and they weigh the car on the spot.

if you have GXE model it weighs around 3000lbs. Many owners have weighed their modified 95 Maxima and reported under 3000lbs, some are 2900lbs.

The SE & GLE trims weigh more due to more equipment.

4th gen Maximas were lighter than their Accord & Camry counterparts. On the other hand, the 3rd gen were quite heavy.

Perhaps you misunderstood the definition of one ton here?

A 1 ton pick up, which they consider to be a full pickup means 2,000lbs capacity in the bed.
