Has there been a recent change in the weather? Perhaps with fall setting in and the wind, its making the inside of her nose drier and making the skin more prone to break? My mom always coated a que-tip with vasaline and rubbed it in my nose when I was a kid. Seemed to help...

I've had a seasonal nosebleed since I was 16doctor says it's not a big deal and it happens to everyone... I have mild allergies and the dryness of winter really dries out my nose...
The only reason to cauterize is if you lose a lot of blood or it doesn't stop after a couple of minutes....
