Random MCE 2005 question...

What button do I press on this standard remote? I put it in standby once but I just want to close out media center!

I just move the mouse and the tool bars show up. Click on the X in the upper right or minimize Media Center and do something else.

I want to do it all by remote. Not with my mouse.

push the mce button so it goes back to home/main screen with My TV, videos etc. , use the left arrow to highlight the shutdown icon in the upper left corner, select it and then you'll have one of 5 options. 1 them is close window. others are standby, shutdown, restart and something I forgot.

As far as I know it's not possible... I've tried to as well... even tried to program a button on the logitech harmony remote to do it, but to no avail.

Oh sh!t. I assumed that crap would shut me down right there. I flipped out when I hit the "power" button on the remote and it went straight to stand by.
