random lockups

i built my computer back in august, and it was woking fine for a month, then out of nowhere i started to get random lockups only after having a few programs open or comming back to the computer after it was idle for awhile. after not being able to find the problem i replaced the mobo, ram, psu, vid card and the hsf thinking it was due to overheating... well i just got all the parts back today after saving back up (long story) and i still have the same prob, which only shows the CPU, HD and the sound card?, my temps are idling in the low to mid 30's nothing oced.

any suggestions?

yes i did, and i have a new thought...

can a somehow broken HD do this? because the problem is only when closing programs, and when i log into windows... what happens, is when i get to the welcome screen to log in and type my password, i see the HDD led on my case go solid, im assuming its loading windows, and if i try to log in while that happens it dosent work it freezes, and if i wait until after the led has gone off it works fine... maybe a new HD is the answer, i dont care what i have to do anymore i just want a working comp.

EDIT: Got a BSOD this morning for the first time, it said:
***STOP: 0x00000050 (0xFFFFFF97, 0x00000001, 0x805BDCA7, 0x00000000)
