I hope someone can help me with this issue as it's been a thorn in my side for a bit. I ve got a customer runnind win2k sp4 and office 2003 sp1. he's running a p4 2.4 with 512 mb of ram. he has also had this machine for less than a month.
when he runs outlook, word and excel or powerpoint (total of 3 - 4 apps) and my documents he locks up. to the point it takes task man about 3-5 minutes to end one process.
has anyone come across an issue like this before?
i've checked event viewer. no errors occur at the time the lockups occur.
the only thing that solves the problem is logging off and logging back in. then he's good for the rest of the day.
