Random Lockups with new Leadtek Winfast Ti500 Card

Hi, I just put together a new rig with an Athlon 1600 (not OCed), Soyo Dragon+, 768 MB Crucial DDR 2100, and a Leadtek Ti500 card. I am getting random lockups whenever I use software that uses 3D graphics including Return to Wolfenstein, 3Dmark2001, and the Winamp visualization studio. I am running Windows XP and Detonator drivers 21.83. Does anyone have any ideas? I am not overclocking anything, everything is set to the default settings.

I just put together a similar machine (Gainward Ti200 though) and anything that uses DirectX was crashing it. I had to do a clean reinstall of XP and install detonator 23.10. It did not work with 21.83.

windows XP might be the culprit on this. im not certain about this though.
