Random Lockups with high-pitched squeel

Ok, I dont get any error messages, but it randomly locks up (talking total lockup, requires power off, then back on) and when it does it I get a really high-pitched, annoying little squeel. Originally, I thought it had something to do with running in OpenGL because it first happened when I was running Tribes 2 and then later occured in Lightwave 3D. Now, Im not so sure.

It seems to be occuring more frequently now and happening in Windows. The only thing I can trace between all the crashes is that Ive been online during all of them, and that generally Ive had music playing. Whether its Winamp or the ingame sound of Tribes. Could it be my soundcard? (Which is a Soundblaster Live! btw) Or is it a driver/resource conflict?

i have prob where after say i ask win Me to RESTART
it wouldn't restart, sometimes i'd get the repeated "squeal like sound" also
just repeatedly non stop like crazy
so i'd have to turn off computer then back in a few secs later.
i believe its the mobo's prob (MSI k7t Turbo)

Well, I have an Iwill KK266-R so I dont think its mobo related unless its across the entire spectrum of KT133A boards...
