Random Lockups playing AVI movies using Windows Media Player with MSI K7T Pro2A mobo

I need some help guys. I know some of you had this same issue so someone must have an answer. I tried to do a search but couldn't find the thread where I've seen it. The problem I'm having is whenever I play an AVI movie whether it's DIVX or an AVI I've captured using my webcam, my system will lock up and I'm forced to do a cold reboot. Yesterday I decided to update to the Via4in1 4.29 drivers and I thought it fixed it but it didn't. It'll lockup whenever I try to go full screen. This is driving me crazy. I'm not home much so I didn't have a chance to fiddle around with any of the CMOS settings. Could it be a video driver issue? I'm using one of the beta detonator drivers version 11.00 for Windows 98. Before when I was using an offical release video driver, my system would crash whenever I play DVDs, but with these beta drivers, my DVDs don't crash anymore. Anyways, I'm running a 1Ghz AMD on a MSI K7T Pro2a mobo with a CL Gefoce2 GTS and 384MB of CAS2 pc133 ram.
