Random laundry question

I washed a pair of Levi jeans for the first time using Tide liquid detergent. No bleach. Warm cycle. I dried them on cotton cycle. Now there are a few random little holes all over the jeans. They are still wearable, but may not be if they get ripped apart like this again.

The rest of the clothes were fine, aside from two new shirts I can't wear anymore because they shrunk (I am a dumbass). WHY DO MY JEANS HAVE HOLES ATOT OMG!!!?!?!

I don't know aren't jeans supposed to be tough? They are just normal blue jeans so I threw them in there with everything else.

Are you sure you didn't have anything sharp in the washer, maybe stuck under the agitator?

No, don't think so. None of the other clothes were harmed either, so I doubt the one piece that would get ripped with small holes repeatedly would be the jeans 🙁
