I just wanna ask a few questions about my rig and about possible upgrades etc

this is what I have at the moment:

CPU: 3.0 Ghz single-core
Motherboard😛965 ECS Elite
RAM: 2Gb DDR2 800mhz
Graphics card: 8600GTS inno 3D

I recently bought a E8400 processor and I need a motherboard that can support 45nm so I need advice on what motherboard to get. I was thinking of getting a Intel "Dragontail peak"
is that i good board or is there something else I should get ?
