I've noticed every now and then that there is a random flash on the screen when doing anything including just using windows explorer. It doesn't happen frequently so I'm not sure what exactly is the cause. I used to have an 8800 gts 320 which had a similar problem. I recently changed my motherboard and video card to the new 8800 gts 512 so I think it maybe universal to all 8800 cards. I'm using dvi to hdmi if that makes a difference. Anyone else experience this problem?
My other theory is that having the computer and plasma television on the same line maybe causing power problems. I have my computer on a UPS so in that case I would assume the TV might be getting less power than it needs. I haven't figured out a way to test this theory though. Anyone know how noisy power can affect a television?
