Apples, for one.

Take a knife and scape the skin of a store bought apple. Youll get a nice white waxy substance peeling off of it.

I'm not to crazy about cucumber skin (esp on Subway sandwiches), so at home I prefer to peel the skin off.

Just buy some "FIT" when you're at the grocery store next time. It's like soap for your produce. You'll be amazed at the change in texture and taste of your fruits and vegetables afterwards. It eliminates all the wax and other residue.

Yeah..I scrub the heck out of em...probably look like I'am wacking off in the sink. But the green skin adds taste to em. So I don't want to peal the big buggers........

Lots of stuff has food grade wax in it. Chocolate usually has wax in it, depending on quality (low quality - more wax)
