random email from ebay user?

I have received two emails from ebay users like this:

From member: drapps1

First you quit the deal with me for no reason and now you want to buy the same item from someone else .
If you don't change your attitude I will give you bad rating.

I am wary of responding for fear of getting my email on a spammers list, but why the hell would anyone go through all of this? Also, this user and the other user have good feedback.... can anyone think of an explanation?...

Did you bid on an item recently? Maybe the seller thought you were the winner so he or she e-mailed you. That's happend a few times to me.

I wish eBay would stop forwarding emails like that, get's really annoying. Especially the ones I get from people who have nothing to do with the auction, such as people emailing me to tell me that they have a similar item for sale for cheaper, etc.

yeah, these people havent listed any items within the search history, so I doubt I bid on anything of theirs...

the thing that is strange is that both emails came from users with good feedback, both from emails at the same domain and BOTH USED EXACTLY THE SAME WORDING... the only difference was the ten digit number at the bottom, neither of which corresponded to an auction #...

this is bizarre. I feel like i am trying to solve a case or something
