Random Crashing

Hi, i don't know what the problem is, but in some games i will get a blue screen of death which lasts about 1/4 of a second then restarts, it sometimes also occures at desktop at random. Can anyone help.

My specs are:

Epox 8k3a+
256 Kingmax ddr 2700 ram
AMD XP 2000+
geforce 2 MX 400
SB Live
DLink ethernet 530TX
300W psu

We need a little more info on your computer. What operating system are you running? Have any temps of your case and processor? What heatsink? How many case fans? Has it always done this or is it something that just started?
 
Its a brand new comp. I am running WinXP/SP1, i had the same trouble with win2k but winxp had less crashes and sp1 had minimal crashing. The cpu temp is about 59 degrees avg. with amd stock fan and the case or mobo temp (not sure which) is 36 degrees avg. and i have a single case fan.
