Recently, my computer has been restarting randomly. If I do the slightest thing or the biggest thing (program wise), it restarts. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt. I was wondering why this happend. It was fine for about 2-3 months until about couple days ago. I didn't install anything big or do any bios flashes, etc. I even reformatted my drive. I also had problems copying cd to cd in the past week or so. It keeps saying analyzation of cd failed or connection failed or something like that. I've tried putting them on different IDE busses and i have the same problem. Could these be related? HELP!

I'm not familiar with XP, but this worked for me in W2KPro.

start>settings>control panel>system>advanced>Starup and recovery>

uncheck 'automatically reboot'
