Memtest and Prime95 are key components to stability testing your system, as John mentioned. If they turn up nothing, you need to disable everything you don't immediately need in BIOSand remove all of your USB devices. Also remove all extraneous cards. HDD corruption is a common result of reboots and often lead to further reboots thereby complicating the issue. Do you have the most recent chipset drivers for your mothernoard? It could easily be USB/Video/sound related, though memory and CPU are the places to start. Is there a BIOS update available for your MoBo. Often, if you can't make an assignable cause, reboots of that nature will be corrected by a couple of driver updates.
