I believe they at least used to carry the student edition of Microsoft Office, which required a student ID to buy.

But no, I don't think they're going to give you a discount on something like a Radeon x1900 just because you're in school.

no educational discount, and no checking for student ids. not required to by microsoft.

some bestbuys give certain police discounts (if ur precinct is the one bestbuy is in).

This is a joke, right? Why would BB give discounts to one of their best sources of revenue?

The ONLY discount you can get is Office Student and Teachers edition...which is open to purchase by ANYONE who has a family member in school.
