Random barkings...or.....GSD's and fear of rabbits

My dog is going nuts in the backyard barking at something. Probably a rabbit. That stupid mutt is a poor excuse for a watchdog.
example:
me: Sic em boy!
dog: (sits there with dumb look on face)
me: Sit!
dogsits there with dumb look on face)
me: Good boy!

Sheesh...I thought GSD's were supposed to be really smart.

Geekender, you may think it's immensely cool to make a short post followed by a long, long, hideously long space of *nothing* but I don't think anyone over the age of 12 still thinks that is cool. It's a waste and an annoyance. Makes me want to bark at you.
