All the monsters in SW get killed doing stupid crap by weaponless Jedi.

At least in LOTR they put up a fight. Wait, didn't that troll fall into the cavern, ok maybe it's a draw, they both die doing stupid crap.

Still, I voted Cave Troll.

Cave troll died of natural battle causes, namely a spear to the throat. The Balrog fell into the chasm of Khazad Dum. Now, if you want a real fight, pit someone against the balrog.

Actually it was an arrow from Legolas' bow. he fired it when the troll opened his mouth and the arrow went in there and up into his brain :D

Yeah, that's it. Balrog and Rancor would both end via fatal accidents, but, Cave Troll would kick some a$$. So, definitely Cave Troll.

Cave troll is much more intellegent. He has my vote.

actually you may be right, the cave troll is pretty stupid.

The smart trolls are found in the battle before the black gate of mordor. They are infused with new cunning and strength.

I thought it was an arrow to the throat...at least thats what it was in the movie. Didn't seem like natural causes in the flick. I have not read the book so I don't know how it happened there.

Luke beat the rancor, and he was at his most pathetic in ROTJ. If he can beat the rancor with a dumb rock, the cave troll would have no problem.

It was to the head, through his mouth... don't argue w/ kami. And he said natural battle causes, not natural causes.
