I have a problem.....

After running 3dmark03 all the way through, now when I go to play a game, such as Battlefield Vietnam, I have those performance indicators as if it was still in the 3dmark03 mode. Up at the top of the screen it shows the FPS, and then there are the bars and graphs at the lower side of the screen. Not sure what is happening, but I really would appreciate anyone's help here.

System specs:
p4 2.8
nvidia 5900 nu (coolbits registry entry) Running 3d at 450Mhz Core and 950Mhz Mem.
1Gb Mushkin PC3500 lvl2
Win XP Pro

Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

Wasn't that a feature of the newer Nvidia drivers? A built in FPS counter?

Or am I dreaming? :D

check the "more d3d options" panel in forceware...there is a performance graph option.

I'll check those out when I get home from work today......

I did try rebooting and that did not help.

I wasn't sure if this was a feature of 3dmark03 or the video drivers that I am using. I am assuming that since I uninstalled 3dmark03 and I was still getting the performance graphs and fps counters that it was a function of the drivers.

Thanks for all the help so far people!

Ok, thought I would update.... I apparently had a checkbox checked to run the performance graphs. Anyway, thanks for all the help.

Also, I finally got through 3dmark03 run and scored 6247 with the following:

p4 2.8c
Asus p4g800-e delux (running @ 200 FSB)
1 gig Mushkin pc3500 lvl2 (2x512 matched pair) Running at 2-3-3-6
Gainward 5900 nu (overclocked to 450 core and 920 mem)
WD 37Gb Raptor

I have not overclocked anything but the vid card yet.... I guess I should start doing that when I feel like messing around some more. Just wanted to know if this was a decent score for this setup.

Once I start upping the FSB, what type of scores do you think I will see?
