Who'd a thunk it? Rams 0 - 4 now after their loss today to Dallas 13 - 10. I'm not a big Rams fan but I'm really surprised by their start this year.

Go Raiders! :)

It was cool the first two losses because the Rams fans in my hall were being jerks. Now it's just sad...

Any given Sunday. The Saints lost to the Lions today, and the Dolphins to the Chiefs...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

49ers I don't really have an opinion on. I think Al Davis is a fool for getting rid of Gruden. Giants suck. A's are good, I will grant you that.

However, See Sig

ahhhhh, maybe all that crack is finally paying off for the cowboys.

Seriously, the NFC look weak right now. Maybe the eagles are the strongest team follow by the 49ers. But after that, anything can happen.

Now we'll see how fast those Rams fans around here will change to another team.
That's pretty pathetic really, but oh so true.

All you guys need to follow is one team: EAGLES!! McNabb is unstoppable!!!! We should have beat the RAMS last year and put them out of their misery.... they didn't even deserve to make it to the bowl....

umm...last year the Rams should have wrecked the Eagles in that game, rather than the narrow win. They should have owned the Patriots too. Oh well, they suck now. Oh, and by the way...YOU are not on the Eagles.

I beg to differ, we had THE best pass D in the league last year, and were in the top 3 in total D going into that game. The Rams had the #1 O, so if you have any logic whatsoever, you could have predicted it would have been close (it ended in a "narrow win" for the Rams, you're correct).

No ish I'm not on the Eagles, are you on the Rams? The fans at the Vet are considered the X Factor for the team, and since I go to most of the home games, it gives me the right to use "WE". ROTFL, you act like you've never posted on a sports message board and seen that before (newbie's suck).

That's horrible logic. Last year the Rams were just a better team, rankings of offense vs defense aside. And no, I'm not on the Rams, nor do I even like the Rams. And of course I've heard people claim to be a member of a team by using that term 'we' and 'you', I still think it sounds ridiculous.

The Chiefs are and always will be my team, Rams suck and their fans are just a bunch of bandwagoneers.

They didn't even pay attention to the team at all until they got good.

You think they were just a better team, and that's your opinion... If I recall, Vincent had a bad hamstring and Trotter was playing injured as well. It was still a great game though, further displaying the Eagles' heart. Statistically, when the best O goes up against the best D, it usually makes for a great game. It's the same thing as baseball, pitching vs hitting. In last year's World Series, you had Schilling and Johnson pitching against a loaded Yankees lineup. It made for some great finishes, b/c once Kim was put in as a reliever, the Bronx Bombers showed their offensive dominance after being stifled by the D-Back's big 2 aforementioned pitchers.

"We" and "You" are just sports fans ways of referring to which teams they represent, or like. There's nothing silly about it IMO.

Any given sunday...

The lions beat the saints. Wow what an upset, to a point. Look back at the last year and so far this year and you say wow the Lions are awful and if you loose to them then something is wrong. But how many games have they had a real chance to win since the begginning of last year. I can count atleast 10 games that they were in, up to the last few minutes of the game, and if they had a little bit of luck, or didnt choke at the end they could/would have won. So you think just because they were 1-15 that they are awful, its not completely true.

Take a look at Dallas for example, they lost to the expansion texans. Maybe they just played a bad game. Quincy Carter played awful, it was the first game of the season, and the Texans had all the support in that stadium. Dallas had everything against them. Could it be that they really aren't that awful a team?

Sure the Rams lost to Dallas. But maybe they have just had a really unlucky start, much the same as the Lions did last year? Oh, and don't overlook the fact that Warner broke his pinky and had to leave the game early. The Rams do not suck all of a sudden, they have just had a few unlucky breaks. Under the right circumstances the Rams could beat any team in the league. Or loose to any team in the league, it just depends on how the ball bounces. The Rams do have the talent to be a powerhouse though, whether or not they put it to use, and capitalize on their opportunities is yet to be seen.

Eagles are a good team, but they lack strength at the RB pos. Maybe its a bad run blocking line, or a bad RB. Their game is 1 dimensional though. They have the threat of D. McNabb on the pass, and on the run. They however, do not pose a real threat running the ball up the middle and being a powerhouse football team. That weakens their pass game alot.

A few teams that I am extremely impressed with though are the Bills, Chargers, Patriots (still surprise me) and the Chiefs.

Take a look at the Chiefs scores, they are putting up over 40 points a game, their defense unfortunately is allowing that many or more a game as well. If their D can step up they could be a real threat. Priest Holmes is the real deal.

I think Duce Staley is a great RB, he's not the best, but he complements McNabb AND he can catch; giving him a role similar to Marshall Faulk... True, they don't have someone who they can pound the ball with, like an Alstott, but they don't really need it since McNabb can squirm out of an almost "dead" play at any given time... That's probably their only weakness on O... True, if McNabb goes down, that will severely hurt the Eagles... but look at the receiving corps: Pinkston, Thrash, Freeman (pro bowler), and C.Lewis (pro bowler), pretty wicked if you ask me!!

The Raiders own all.

The Packers are a pretender, as are the broncos, and the eagles. Pittsburgh sucks. The 49ers are mediocre. The Rams arent gonna make the playoffs. The Patriots are good but we all know the Raiders >> Patriots (see last years RAIDERS victory over the Patriots!!). will a contender please step forward.

and how can someone say the raiders were dumb for letting go of Gruden? you obviously know nothing. Gruden had one year left on his contract and made it clear he wasnt gonna be back. so the AGING raiders picked up two first round picks and two second round picks as well as $$. Oh and btw the Raiders are 3-0, the highest scoring team in the league and have blown out all three of their opponents. seems to me like Al knows what he is doing. Raiders: Commitment to Excellence!!

[edit] tampa bay looks good so far. maybe raiders v tampa bay in the superbowl? too early to tell...
