rambus frequency question

i have 512 MB of pc800 rambus on a P4T-E mobo. my P4 1.6a is o/c to 2.3 (144 FSB) and as a result i have to drop the rambus frequency down to 3X as opposed to 4X. since overclocking with DDR means i will have to upgrade to a new mobo, may i just use a higher frequency rambus? does this mobo support higher speed rambus? any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated.

You're lucky you can hit that, with my Asus P4T533-C and 512mb pc800 rdram, I can only hit 2.2 with my 1.8A. And thats at 125fsb, I can't even go to 133fsb even with Ram at 3X, gives me long beeps at startup. Luckily my board supports pc1066 rdram, Im not sure if yours does, I think it does, but that should allow you to OC higher, albeit it is a bit expensive
