The scene in the 3rd movie when Stallone and Crenna go up against the 5,000 plus soldiers with just a handfull of bullets and a bowie knife is one of the greatest moments in movie history.

I thought First Blood was a great movie, but I heard the other two just kept on getting worse (never really saw the sequels apart from previews).
I have never ordered from them before but all 3 rambo's for only $20 is a pretty good deal. Shipping for me was only $3 so I payed $23 for 3 dvd's. I'll let you guys now if something happens and I dont recieve them or something like that. Thanks for the deal!

Rambo was , at the time, synonymous with something that no one talked about. One of the many vets that came back from war only to face ridicule and harassment by the people he fought for. Yeah, it's a cheesy example of a very real situation, but the movie very much symbolized real world issues. You may not respect the character Rambo, but you should very much respect the people Rambo symbolized, people who were abandoned by a society that he fought to protect.

These movies were made at the heighth of Reaganomic, flag-waving, born-in-the-USA jingoism.

.I wonder what the quality is of the DVD Transfer on these movies?
For $20, it does seem like a good deal but, I remember, before DVD's were out, back when you had to bang two rocks together to make a 1, and we didn't have no steeenkin 0's, but we got by and we LIKED it... oh wait, veering off topic... I remember back before DVD's the VHS Box set used EP mode for the Transfer. As if VHS isn't bad enough of a format, they recorded the movies in the worst quality they could, to save cost on the already cheap blank tape. Needless to say, I never bought it.
So, I'm not having high expectations that this is one of the better DVD transfers... assuming it's the same group that put out the VHS box set years ago.

Artisan clam shell Rambo is excellent quality. These are unlabeled on the page...no way. 2 cheapo no label import VHS dub crappers are enough. I wouldn't mind II and III, but not here.
I ordered from this place. They charged my credit card and never sent me my items. I called them to find out that they sold out of the item I wanted. They said that they would credit my account. Took about 2 months to get my credit card credited its money back.

My experience dealing with them are highly praised. Ordered the rambo 3-sets on 6/15 and received yesterday. The quality of the them is really good.
I got them today so it took about 6 days to get here. This is really a great deal, how often can you get any 3 dvd's for $20 much less cool ones like Rambo.

Got mine today. They are 16:9 widescreen, quality is pretty good, only Dolby 2.0 though. Still sounds okay, but it'd be nice if someone remastered the collection in DD 5.1 or DTS. Can't beat this deal for $23 tho.
