Hi, my system im looking to get is a:

INTEL® CORE® 2 DUO E6600
SATA II 250 GB HARD DISK @ 7200rpm 8mb cache
1024MB GEFORCE 7950GX2

And I was wondering whether I should opt for 2048 MB CORSAIR DDR2-800 PC6400 or 2048 MB CORSAIR DDR2-667 PC5300 ? I wont be OCing (maybe a bit in a years time or so...but I know nothing about it) and Im hoping the computer will last about 3 years (with an upgrade of GFX card) I have read some of the other posts about this issue but tbh I dont fully understand them, sorry 🙂 Any advice would be great, thanks!

Joe

from what I've seen, core 2 duo + 667 memory = bad! If you can, downclock the 667 to a 533 for better performance, or get the 800 if you wish

make sure to grab urself a perpendicular hard drive, as those things go much faster than regular recording hd's
