Should I get 1G of high quaility cosrair RAM (3200) or 2G of low/mid quaility and get another stick later. I do play games and overclock

just get two gig of corsair value ram and use the mem dividers to keep them running. Mem freq doesn't make that much of a diference compared to the cpu overclock.

Yeah but you may as well get 1X2GB of high(er) quality RAM if you're already spending $130 on memory. The difference between $130 amd $200 isn't that great, but worth it nonetheless.

to tell you the truth, i really dont notice much improvement in anything between running 1x 1gb and 2 x 1gb in my system. maybe boot time was a 3 seconds slower? i didn't relaly time it but cs:s and cod2 ran fine..

you probably weren't going much over 1GB, since i am assuming you are running 1280x1024 based on your lcd. when i tested cod2 out, i found it to be ram friendly and didn't need as much as bf2, but did need more gpu power at the same resolutions.

I've hit 1.6GB of RAM useage with itunes (i need a heavy metal soundtrack to my slaughter) and BF2 running. 2GB Is really the way forward, just get the value RAM.
