if I upgrade my system which mem should I look to use
I guess the motherboard dictates which I can use but how to choose ?
DDR RAM
OVERCLOCKERS DDR RAM
DDR2 RAM

It really helps to know which motherboard you have.
Have you looked at the memory you have in there now?
CPU-Z is a program which can tell you a little about the ram that's installed.
