1) Is it proper to use Dimm 1 and 2 or 1 and 3 for RAM? The manual says 1 and 2, but someone told me for dual channel its 1 and 3 or 2 and 4. Is that correct?

Also....

2) I have the PWLED from the case to connet and the mobo manual says it goes into pins 16,18,20 - however there are only 2 holes on the connector. I'm not a complete moron, but how do you connect a 2 hole connector to a place with 3 pins (PLED labled)?

3) I am guesing the ATX4P1 connector is just for a regular power connector?

4) the labels on the mobo FP-USB 1, FP-USB2, FP-USB3
are for the "thicker" (non labled) cables from the case p160 case to goto?

5) I don't see any connections for the USB-PWR1 and USB-PWR2 - should I have any?

Sorry for the stupid questions....

MOBO in question is Abit AN8 SLI with an Antec p160 case and an Antec 550W PSU

1) do whatever it says in your mobo manual to run dual channel. dont listen to people.

2)just stick in on 2, and test it. see if it works.

3) where is ATX4P1? is it 4 pins in a straight line, or in a square?

4) im not sure. but, the really important thing is to NOT PUT A USB INTO AN IEEE1394 or the other way around. that will kill your board. look at the manual and stuff

5) those are just jumpers. if you set them, you can have your computer turn on when you activate a USB device.

1) I do what the manual states
2) I don't think it'll fit on just two, haha
3) 4 in a row - I'm assuming thats the only connector that can even go to that
4) the "thicker" connectors arn't labled so how would I know what they goto? It's the only "thicker" cables coming from the case not the PSU.
I don't even see connectors labeled for IEEE1394 :Q

I do have one set of those "thicker" cables with a bunch of tiny ones attached to it. Different colored wires and only 1 hole on ea one. From memory there are about 4-6 of them. Not sure where they would go since the mobo or manual doesn't say...
